Raphaëlle Aoun (b. 2004) is a Lebanese composer based in Berlin. Always seeking new sounds, she aims to create innovative sonic textures and atmospheres, drawing inspiration from her surroundings and nature. Through her music, Raphaëlle aims to create a connection with the listener, opening up a discussion around the topic of contemporary music in our modern society.
Her music has been performed by ensembles and renowned soloists, including Ensemble Musikfabrik, Art Percussion Ensemble, Matthias Bauer, Michael Vogt, Nadezda Tseluykina, Joachim Striepens, and Daniel Prinz among many others.
Since October 2024, she has been pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Composition with Prof. Hanspeter Kyburz at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin, following her studies with composer Helmut Zapf. She expanded her knowledge and skills with renowned composers, including Milica Djordjević, Gordon Kampe, Arnulf Herrmann, Ying Wang, Giovanni Bonato and others.
